Wake

Fifty leagues from here you will see the eye of the needle…
and so our tale begins…of binnacles and barnacles, hangings and hauntings, of running from and running to, of coming together and drifting apart, of a passage through an impossibly tight spot, of things left behind in the wake…

Palmerston Library Theatre, 560 Palmerston Avenue
Located 2 blocks west of Bathurst, a few houses north of Bloor St.
on Palmerston Ave. Wheelchair Accessible

Gender Play serve’s transsexual, transgender, intersex, two-spirit, gender-queer, gay, lesbian, bisexual and questioning youth up to age 26. It is an exciting project designed to explore the complexity of gender and gender identity through an artistic process.

The culmination of these creative endeavors is WAKE a play written and performed by: Apol, Blaze, Carlos, Carrie, Claro, Ian, Izzy, Lindsay, Luka, Michael, Matthu, Phillip and Sadie.
