The arts play an important role in our lives by enabling us to expand our horizons. Our imaginations get a workout, and feelings and memories begin to flow. The arts offer us a sense of culture and a sense of who we are.

Why artists need support?
Artists are highly trained and dedicated individual who pursue their chosen art form out of a drive to create. This drive to create has been supported through our history by various individuals or groups from the monarchy, the government, arts patrons and businesses. Without this type of support, we would not have many of the great works of art that we so cherish today such as a Rodin sculpture or a Michelangelo painting. In this day and age of fast food art that we find on TV sitcoms and in the never-ending stream of images and data that we see in our daily lives it is more important than ever to support the arts. Dance based arts, can in particular, help us return to the body senses and the simply beautiful act of expressing through movement.

We need your support for:

  • Covering operating expenses
  • Production costs
  • The mentoring other artist
  • Dance education programs
  • Programs that make dance more accessible to special needs groups
